Who you talk to and what to ask

How Our Network Works

Talk to a local provider

Who answers your call

Your request goes to a provider in the network that serves your area. The person you reach works for that independent provider, not for Hhteers Walk-In Tubs. They know the trade, and they can talk about your bathroom in real terms. Call hours vary by provider, so ask about timing early.

What the provider may ask

Expect plain questions. Have your answers ready:

  • What do you have now: a tub, a shower, or a tub-shower combo?
  • How wide and deep is the space? Measure first, then ask.
  • What is the floor made of, and are there any soft spots?
  • Is the home older, or is it a condo with building rules?
  • What is the main goal: easier entry, a seat, or room for a helper?

Photos help a lot. Snap the tub, the walls, the floor, and the shutoff valves.

Questions worth asking a provider

  • Are you licensed where required, and insured?
  • Is the quote in writing, and what does it include?
  • Who handles demolition, disposal, and permits?
  • What happens if you find damage behind the tile?
  • Does a walk-in tub need a bigger water heater?
  • How long will my bathroom be out of use?
  • What warranty does the provider offer, in writing?

Older homes: ask about surprises

Older walls and floors can hide rot, rust, or past patch jobs. Ask how the provider handles that, and how extra work gets priced before it starts. Humid climates make hidden moisture more likely, so do not skip this one.

You stay in charge

Providers do the work, but you make the calls. Get more than one quote if you like. Costs vary by job, so ask for a written quote. You can say no, pause, or ask again. Hhteers Walk-In Tubs only makes the introduction.
